HRID - Migrate Single Sign On configuration - SAML

Action required: Your HR Manager Single Sign On configuration must be updated

You are receiving this email because you are using HR Manager Talent Recruiter by Talentech and have configured it to use Single Sign On.

A while back we started rolling out our new identity solution, HRID that gives all our users one single account to use across all our products. In the newsletter that was sent in March, we mentioned that we will contact customers who have configured Single Sign On before we migrate. We are now ready to migrate your system and need to get in touch with you to prepare the details.

This migration is necessary to ensure that your single sign on will continue to work.

What actions should I take?

Your current setup is based on ADFS and SAML. We recommend all our customers to move to OpenId Connect which is a newer and more modern standard for web authentication. If you are already using Azure AD this should be an easy setup, and the steps are described below.

  1. You need to set up a new Azure AD App Registration and respond to this email with the ClientID and Metadata URL as mentioned in this setup guide : https://talentech-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOCS/pages/374079634

  2. You will get a RedirectURI and a LogoutURL from us that you need to enter in your App Registration config.

  3. You get a test login link from us that you can use to verify that the setup works and we get all the required claims from you.

  4. We activate the new configuration for your system.


If you do not have Azure AD and want to keep your SAML setup in ADFS, we support that as well, but please note that we are planning to deprecate the SAML support.
